Rodney HoodSG, Portland Trail BlazersRodney Hood will decline his $6M player option for next season and become an unrestricted free agent according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Hood has been rehabbing his torn Achilles for close to a year, and reportedly should be good to suit up once next season starts. In a relatively dry free agent market for shooting, Hood could find himself a handful of suitors if teams believe he'll be able to bounce back from the Achilles injury quickly. Should he re-sign with Portland, he would figure to be competitive for the starting SF role.
