Cameron PaynePG, Phoenix SunsCameron Payne made his Suns debut on Friday against the Wizards in the Orlando bubble, logging 19 minutes and finishing with nine points (4-of-7 FG, 1-of-2 3PT), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.
Payne was signed to a multi-year contract while the season was paused and the Suns evidently think they can use him. He impressed in the Suns' final scrimmage on Thursday and earned himself a solid chunk of playing time on Friday. Payne seems to have a chance to prove himself during the Suns' seven remaining seeding games (and the playoffs, if they manage to sneak into the field).
