Amir Johnson

Marc Stein is reporting that the Nets have made Amir Johnson a prime target in their search for frontcourt depth.

The Nets are down DeAndre Jordan and Nicolas Claxton, so some help up front is much needed, even if the Nets have slim odds of doing any postseason damage. Johnson is a quality veteran who can bring some energy and set nasty screens, though we're not expecting him to play much if he ends up signing with Brooklyn. He's been out of the league all season.
