Robert Williams IIIC-F, Boston CelticsRobert Williams returned to action with 10 points (3-of-3 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), three rebounds and a steal in 10 minutes vs. the Nets on Tuesday.
Robert Williams last played nearly three months ago, so he has plenty of rust to knock off. The Celtics did play him for much of the fourth quarter while the game was close, so there’s hope that they consider him their backup center or possibly their best defensive option there. He’s just a player to watch for now, but his field goal percentage and ability to block shots could be useful if he can get near 20 minutes per game.
