D'Angelo RussellPG, Minnesota TimberwolvesD'Angelo Russell couldn't lead the Wolves past the Hornets in a 108-115 loss in his debut on Wednesday, dropping 26 points on 9-of-23 shooting to go with six boards, 11 dimes, two steals, a block and four 3-pointers.
This was a fat line from D-Lo, who was playing without Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist), but we're sure that he can keep up this value with a healthy squad. He was putting up solid value on the Warriors and the shutdown risk was always lower than his teammates, but now that he's on the Wolves you can bet he plays the majority of the games to end the year. The Wolves are going to want to see him play as many games as possible with KAT so rest easy knowing that he'll be out there.
