Jae Crowder will not play for the Heat on Friday vs. the Kings, but he is hoping to make his debut for the team on Sunday against the Blazers.

Crowder had been a borderline standard league option on the Grizzlies this season, but the Heat have plenty of veteran leadership in comparison. He'll have a regular role in the rotation, but is more of a 16-team league option as his minutes are about to take a hit on the Heat.
