There are only a handful of catchers that should be viewed as a top 100 player overall.
However, in deeper leagues or draft and hold situations, managers would be wise to make sure they take one of the top 10-to-12 catchers before they are all gone as there is a bit of a drop off after that point.
But there are a lot of interesting names up and down the top 12 or so. How far did Sean Murphy fall? How high did William Contreras skyrocket? Does Willson Contreras’ move to first improve his value?
