Yesterday, I took the same bet for the UEFA Europa League Final, and despite the over 2.5 goals hitting, Leverkusen surprised everyone by not winning, let alone scoring a goal. Today, I’m revisiting this bet in a Serie A matchup, and I have my reasons. Cagliari secured their place in the league by defeating Sassuolo last weekend. Manager Claudio Ranieri has decided to retire, and the team will want to bid farewell to the experienced coach who led them to Serie A and helped avoid relegation, in front of their fans.

On the other hand, Fiorentina recently played a back-and-forth match, drawing with Napoli. While seventh place remains possible, it’s not realistic given that Lazio will face relegated Sassuolo. They are also at risk of losing eighth place. However, their upcoming Conference League final next week holds far greater importance, prompting anticipated changes to the lineup. I’m sticking with this pick again today.
