Pickups of the Day for June 27th

  • Three pickups for today, including a couple of back-to-back top 10 picks in the 2018 draft, along with a former batting champion looking to break out.

Jarred Kelenic, OF, 10% rostered on ESPN
Since losing Ronald Acuña and Michael Harris, the Braves have handed Jared Kelenic an every day job in the outfield, and more recently, in the leadoff spot. Since his move to the top of the lineup, Kelenic holds a .975 OPS with three home runs, three doubles and eight runs. Given the
Braves’ offensive potential, and the talent that Kelenic still possesses, he is a worthwhile pick up in any categories league, and any eight team or larger points league. For the short term, he’s viable in any format, but the strikeouts will eventually diminish his value in points leagues when
    he cools off.
