Every Sunday, Paul Williamson delivers the top FAAB targets to help you make the smartest bids.
Make every dollar count—don’t miss Weekly FAAB Pickups!
This article is going to be done differently, with it being the final week of the year. Instead of giving you a percentage of your FAAB dollars for the recommendation, I will say either high-or-mid priority. It doesn’t make sense to make your bids based on percentages, if you’re going to end with 0.
I also go heavy on the minimum bid list as a lot managers are either out of FAAB or are running very low to end the campaign.
NOTE: The cutoff point will be 50% rostered in NFBC Rotowire Championship leagues (12-teams). The players will be listed in order of rostership (with exception being the top player).
Isaac Paredes – 3B – HOU – 24%
He made an improbable comeback off the IL with a hamstring issue that could have required season-ending surgery. But Paredes decided to rehab the injury and attempt a comeback. For the final week of the campaign, he can provide managers with some serious counting stats. He hit 19 homers in 413 plate appearances with 51 runs, 50 RBI and a .260 average. He plays three games in Sacramento this week.
Recommendation – high-priority
