NOTE: The cutoff point will be 50% rostered in NFBC Rotowire Championship leagues (12-teams). The players will be listed in order of rostership.
NOTE No. 2 – This is just the first draft of names. I’ll be adding names on Sunday morning so be sure to check back.
David Festa – P – MIN – 41%
Yes, Festa pitches in GABP and you may want to take caution with that start. But the Reds do strikeout a ton (23.9% K% over last 30 days vs. righties in Cincy) and Festa has a ton of swing-and-miss to his arsenal with a 14.1% SwStr%, including two straight SwStr% of 15.0% and 19.8% in his last two outings. He now has 25 Ks to just nine BBs in 22.2 innings pitched. I believe Festa can be a top-50 arm as his ceiling thanks to his K upside but the Twins do well at developing arms are I believe he can find the consistency to be even better than that. Get in on him now while you can.
Recommendation – 12-teams – 8-12% of FAAB
