NOTE: The cutoff point will be 50% rostered in NFBC Rotowire Championship leagues (12-teams). The players will be listed in order of rostership (with exception being the top player).
Andrew Vaughn – 1B – MIL – 9%
He got the call up to the Brewers for the first time since being dealt away by the White Sox and he has done well going 6-for-16 with two homers and ten RBI, including Saturday’s 2-for-4 with four RBI performance. On the year, he has excellent metrics that always pointed to a potential breakout. He had 13.9% on the barrel rate with 47.7% hard-hit rate with an expected BA of .262 and xSLG of .479. He could go on a major run and make it hard to the Brewers when Rhys Hoskins returns. It is hard to find this kind of upsdie this late in the year so splurge if you need to CI help (looking at you who are trying to replace Max Muncy still or have Austin Riley to replace).
Recommendation – 12-team leagues 5-8%, 6-10% deeper leagues.
