It’s the second Saturday in September, which means the first week of the fantasy playoffs is coming to an end in a lot of leagues. Today we are going to scour the waiver wire to see if there are any league winners floating around.

Royce Lewis – SS – MIN (72% rostered, Yahoo)

Lewis missed a month and a half of the season AFTER starting the year on the injured list…but since his return from the IL on August 15th, all he has done is mash. Over the 21 games he has played in since coming off of the IL, Lewis has a 1.014 OPS, 18 runs, 7 home runs, 26 RBI and 3 stolen bases, with a .313 batting average, a true 5 category contributor. He is a league-winning pickup that should be owned in every league, regardless of size. The fact he is available in over a quarter of all Yahoo leagues is criminal. If you and your league mates have ignored him thus far, remedy that decision today.
