The MLB season is flying by and today is already the first day of May baseball. Last week I was on fire and recommended a few guys who are paying dividends if you scooped them up off free agency. I highlighted names such as Jonah Heim, Jose Alvarado, and Jack Suwinski. This week we have a new batch of players that we are going to get into! Jarren Duran OF Red Sox 9% Owned

Jarren Duran started 2023 in AAA but got recalled on April 17 and hit the ground running. He is slashing .396 BA/1 HR/10 RBI/2 SB across 53 plate appearances. Duran has looked like a completely different hitter compared to last year. A small mechanical tweak in his batting stance has allowed him to put more power into his swings. He has a 58 HardHit% which is immensely improved from his 38% in 2022. He’s offering upside in batting average and stolen bases at the minimum for the rest of the season, and the way he’s hitting the ball, maybe even some homers too. The window to add him to leagues might be closing, don’t wait too long!
