MLB Pickups of the Day for June 12th

  • We are getting into week 12 here in the fantasy baseball season. Last week I was on fire and recommended a few guys who are paying dividends if you scooped them up off free agency. I highlighted names such as Jordan Walker and Willi Castro. This week we have a new group of players that we are going to get into! It features some names that I have mentioned on my Twitter over the past week (@Andrew_FBB)

    Ke’Bryan Hayes

Known as one of the premier fielding third basemen in all of baseball in the 100th percentile in outs above average. Hayes has had a pretty decent season on the offensive side as well. He is hitting .261 with 4 home runs, 28 RBIs, and 7 stolen bases in 257 plate appearances. His underlying metrics suggest he should be doing even better posting a .288 xBA which is top 10% in the MLB. Hayes is also posting a career-best 17.4 K% while sitting in the 86th percentile in whiff percentage. Making consistent contact is something he improved very much on over the last year. Lastly, he is hitting the ball at the hardest rate in his career at 92.7 MPH  average exit velocity which is top 7% in the league. Go add Hayes before his counting stats catch up!
