Christian Encarnacion-Strand season is officially here. The highly-touted Reds prospect pinch-hit and launched his first career home run, a 426-foot three-run bomb, which also happened to be his first career hit. He then added a single and finished the night 2-for-3. If you aren’t up-to-date on how CES’s season had gone before his recent call-up, he slashed .331/.405/.637 with 20 home runs, 65 runs and 62 RBI through 67 games in Triple-A. The rookie needs to be rostered.
