Hey Fantasy Baseball managers. As the week comes to the close, the wire is hot with potential adds. We’ll review some newer hot adds that you can consider as your moves reset, or bidding starts. We’ve seen a lot of budding waiver wire moves like Jack Suwinski and Brent Rooker, so let’s get ahead of the curve on some other guys.
Gavin Stone
Stone is a top prospect for the Dodgers and he is set to throw Wednesday. If Stone throws well, he could potentially stick, but the Dodgers’ plans are currently unknown. It has been mentioned Dustin May have some innings limitations, and Noah Syndergaard has been struggling, so the opportunity is there for Stone. Stone has a 2.69 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 333Ks in 237 minor league innings.
Rodolfo Castro
Castro is an infielder for the Pirates who has stepped up in Oneil Cruz’s absence. He has multi position flexibility and is a great deep league depth option. He is starting to creep up into standard league value with his line of a .286 BA, 3 HR, 10 runs, and 12 RBI in only 77 at bats. He’s playing daily and worth consideration.
