Max Kepler (OF, Twins)

Kepler is enjoying a breakout year with his 17 HR, 41 RBI, and 43 runs in 278 at bats. He’s on a 34-HR, 82-run, 86-RBI pace if you extrapolate his stats to 560 at bats. His statcast is lit up red with average exit velocity, hard hit%, xSLG, Barrel%, and whiff% all in the 70th percentile or higher. Kepler has value in most standard leagues, and he’s especially helpful for power stats in cat and roto leagues. I like his upper end 3-category upside, and he’s been hitting for average of late (.282 over the last 30 days). I’m adding him to ride this wave where I need power, and I expect him to replicate value.
