It’s Friday again which means it’s time to scout out some undervalued players to help out your fantasy teams. This final stretch can determine playoff seeding so make sure you know who’s heating up.

Gavin Williams – Starting Pitcher – Cleveland Guardians (ESPN 10%, Yahoo 32%)

One of the best pitching prospects in baseball came up and really struggled with his command, limiting his ability to pitch deep into games and have clean starts. But Monday against Toronto might’ve been the turn-around point for Williams as he went 7 IP only allowing 1 hit, 1 walk and striking out 12. It was also his fifth start in a row where he allowed 2 runs or less, lowering his season ERA down to 2.90. The 1 walk is important because even though those past 4 starts were good as far as runs allowed went; he still walked a combined 12 batters. Expect Williams to build off that successful start and add him in all 10 and 12+ team leagues.
