    Dereck Lively II (75-100)

Lively II is your classic rim-running center who provides rim protection. He landed in a perfect spot in Dallas next to Luka Doncic and with a clear positional need, it allowed Lively II to have some strong moments. While the starting center job looks to be Daniel Gafford’s for the time being, Lively II should still see enough run as the backup center to provide some production until he’s ready to take on the starting center job.

    Daniel Gafford (80-110)

Gafford shined in limited minutes on a poor Wizards team. When a midseason trade shifted Gafford to the Mavs, it was uncertain if his fantasy output would translate. That was quickly put to rest, as Gafford fit like a glove on a Mavs team that needed the extra center minutes. Gafford should be locked into a great short-term fit. Even though Dereck Lively II is a bit of a concern, Gafford has emphatically proven he only needs 20-plus minutes to provide helpful boards, blocks, and FG%.
