Pickups of the Day for June 24th

  • As the season gets deeper into the hotter days, there are going to be some offensive numbers to be taken advantage of. Today, we’ve got three names that are in prime position to take advantage of the warm weather and really come through for your fantasy teams.

    Dylan Moore  – 2B, 3B, SS, OF – SEA – 17% Yahoo

Anytime you can find some production out of a player with so much roster flexibility, then managers have to take note. Moore can provide managers with some high-risk, high-reward upside off their bench on days that their main dudes are out, The only roster spots you cannot use him on are 1B, C and pitcher. He won’t be a batting average asset and can easily go 0-for-4 with four strikeouts. However, he has eight homers and 13 steals in 203 at-bats.That is not terrible. He has very solid quality of contact numbers with the avgEV, bat speed, barrel, hard-hit and launch angle/sweet spot rate that all rank in the 61st-69th percentile. He also owns walk rate in the 75th percentile, which gives him extra chances to use his 68th percentile sprint speed to turn those walks into doubles.

Sunday’s day off was his first since he became a dad on the paternity list on June 12 and he he had only two days off between May 9 and June 10 (when he went of the paternity list). He has a dang-near everyday role and can be a great fill in off the bench to cover off-days and sporadic injuries to you main players.

League size recommendation:12-team, five outfield leagues and deeper
