Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Sleepers: Best WR Targets Outside the Top 100 ADP
Fantasy football is always shifting as positions become more valuable due to depth or top-heavy due to superstars joining the fray. Right now, we are in a time of unprecedented WR depth as some teams legitimately have three WRs on the roster who could all go for 1000 yards. As a result of this depth, it makes sense to wait on WR, certainly in three WR leagues and try and nail a couple of late-round picks. If you grab one stud WR, one mid-round WR and a handful of WRs with an ADP past the top-100, you will have a leg up on the rest of the league with a stacked roster. Here are some of my favorite WRs that are going past the top-100.
Josh Downs, IND – ADP -113
I was a year early to the Downs party and also a year late He finished as the WR48 after being the WR36 as a sophomore. It looked like his trajectory was going to keep going up, but the arrival of Tyler Warren really ate into his potential target share. He saw nearly 20 less targets (16.5 TS%) despite playing two more games and never really put it all together. Now, with Michael Pittman and AD Mitchell gone, it’s just him and Alec Pierce as WRs. The Colts were 19th in WR targets last season, but really only the numbers before the Daniel Jones injury should count. Downs wasn’t great before or after, but it’s about opportunity and Downs is finally in a great place. He was PFF’s 20th-highest graded WR in 2025 as he’s also 20th in separation score. Downs gets open and should finally blossom in an explosive offense. A top-20 WR season is very likely in the cards.
