• James Johnson
    PF, Oklahoma City Thunder

James Johnson is now officially a member of the Thunder.

The Thunder will also receive a 2024 second-round pick from the Wolves. Johnson opted into his $16 million deal for next season and was promptly dealt to Oklahoma City in a trade that saw Minnesota re-add Ricky Rubio. Johnson popped on the standard-league radar after being traded from Miami last season, with his versatile game predictably delivering solid value in starter's minutes. Johnson and his expiring deal are certainly options to be dealt again by the rebuilding Thunder, but if he stays in OKC there could be enough minutes to make him a viable late-round option with upside. We'll keep an eye on Johnson's outlook over the course of the offseason.
