Carmelo AnthonyPF, Portland Trail BlazersThe Blazers have announced the re-signing of Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony returns to the team that helped him revitalize his career last season, though he'll be playing a different role this time around. Last year the Blazers were very thin up front, whereas they've added Robert Covington and Derrick Jones Jr. this season. Anthony figures to come off the bench and be the main bucket-getter in the second unit. Melo can still help a team as an offensive specialist and spot-up shooting threat and the hope is he stays within his own limitations. It's not a role that figures to lend itself to significant fantasy appeal, especially off the bench.
