Austin Rivers has indicated he plans to opt-out of his current contract and test the open market, per USA Today.

Rivers will go fishing for offers as an unrestricted free agent after electing to decline his player option. He has expressed an interest in returning to the Rockets but will ultimately make his decision based on potential offers. No matter his eventual landing spot, it is hard to see Rivers carving out a sizeable role, making him just a deep-league fantasy asset at best.
