Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Blake Griffin underwent knee surgery on Tuesday and will face an extended rehab process.

This news officially puts the nail in the coffin on what has been a nightmare season for the All-Star big man. Regularly going around pick-50 in drafts, Griffin never truly looked healthy and will wind up finishing just inside the top-300 on a per-game basis in 9-cat leagues. The Pistons will move forward with Christian Wood, Sekou Doumbouya and Markeiff Morris (foot) to pick up the slack at PF. If the former two are still hanging around on the waiver wire, run and grab them.
