Richaun HolmesPF, Sacramento KingsRichaun Holmes received a PRP injection to treat a labral tear in his right shoulder and will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks.
This is a tough break as it looked like Holmes was nearing a return to action last week before ultimately getting ruled out through the All-Star break. That break should help minimize the number of games he misses but this extending timeline, as well as the reveal that he's been dealing with a labral tear, is frustrating for fantasy GMs. Harry Giles should continue to start up front while this will create more minutes for Alex Len and maybe Jabari Parker when they get healthy. Nemanja Bjelica remains the safest fantasy option in Sacramento's frontcourt mix. Holmes has already missed 16 games but he's been so impactful when healthy that most GMs should just keep hanging on if at all possible.
