Anthony Davis (gluteus maximus contusion) was seen participating in practice on Tuesday, and he hopes to get some more on-court work on Wednesday.

Davis mentioned in a post-practice media session that he is progressing well, and his return to the court will be based on how he feels during sessions. Davis is getting close to a return but he will need to sprint and take contact before that can happen. The Lakers' next two games are on Wednesday at home against the Magic and on Saturday versus the Rockets in Houston.
