• Jeff Teague
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Hawks and Wolves have agreed to a swap of Allen Crabbe for Jeff Teague and Treveon Graham.

Teague returns to Atlanta, where he'll ride out the year as Trae Young's backup. It's a big get for the Hawks, as even though they're unlikely to make the playoffs, having Teague around should stabilize the second unit considerably and give Young a smart veteran to learn from over the next few months. Neither Crabbe nor Graham figure to see their roles change much, though Graham's days of occasional starts are probably done. Teague has been trending down and this deal makes him safe to drop in 12-team leagues if you hadn't already. He's not getting a starting gig back this season. For the forward thinkers, all players involved here are on expiring deals and the Hawks are now down to $2.6 million in cape space.
