• Delon Wright
    PG, Dallas Mavericks

Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Thunder, Mavs and Pistons are combining for a three-team trade that will land Delon Wright with the Pistons, Justin Jackson and Trevor Ariza with the Thunder and James Johnson with the Mavs.

It's a big, surprising transaction that fills a lot of holes for the parties involved. Wright will have a chance to play a prominent role for the rebuilding Pistons after struggling in his first season with the Mavs, while Dallas gets a big, versatile defender to bolster their forward depth and the Thunder pick up a young player and another tradeable veteran. As is custom this offseason, they also pick up future draft compensation that has yet to be determined. Johnson and Ariza have been traded multiple times already this offseason, and while JJ looks to have found a landing spot, Ariza should not be expected to finish the season in OKC.
