• Victor Oladipo
    SG, Indiana Pacers

Amid heavy trade speculation, Victor Oladipo has informed the Pacers that he is fully committed to the team and its direction next season.

Oladipo will be a free agent after next season and reportedly requested a trade, but the Pacers sensibly did not budge given Oladipo's poor season last year. While it's possible that Indiana revisits a trade during the year, they will do everything in their power not to sell low on the guard. Yesterday it was reported that Oladipo was heard asking some opponents (the Raptors, Heat and Knicks, among others) if he could play for them, so it's no surprise that he issued the following statement: "I know there have been people saying that I have asked players to trade for me. That's just not true, period. I love my teammates, I cherish the state of Indiana and I'm focused on leading this franchise to a title." Oladipo will be aiming for a max contract so expect him to come out with a sizable chip on his shoulder, and fantasy GMs may find him to be a solid discount in drafts depending on how heavily last year's injury-influenced campaign sways his ADP.
