Shams Charania of The Athletic is reporting that the Wolves are intensifying their pursuit of D'Angelo Russell.

To this point, the Warriors have been inclined to keep Russell, though the Wolves have had obvious and reported interest in the guard dating back to last summer. His shooting and playmaking would be a big lift to a Minnesota team that's looking to find complements for Karl-Anthony Towns, though Golden State may wait until the summer when they can trade Russell without being hard-capped. Expect the Wolves to be a popular name during trade season.
