Sam Amick is reporting that Vlade Divac has stepped down as GM of the Kings.

Joe Dumars, who had previously been an advisor, will assume GM duties and become the interim VP of Basketball Ops. The Kings have a solid young core but continue to make missteps that keep them out of the playoff conversation. Sacramento's draft choice of Marvin Bagley over Luka Doncic will haunt them for a very long time, though Divac did bring some good players into the organization. Still, given the franchise's lack of success under his watch, the Bagley pick may define Divac's legacy. After another wasted season, we'll see if the next regime wants to keep building with the pieces in place or start re-tooling the roster. Amick also reports that Luke Walton's job is safe for the time being despite being a Divac hire.
