• Luka Doncic
    PG-SF, Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic was terrific yet again in Sunday's 97-111 loss to the Clippers, scoring 38 points to go with nine rebounds, nine assists, a steal, four triples and a 15-of-28 mark from the field.

Doncic had the team on his back pretty much all series and tried his damnedest to erase a big deficit today, turning a blowout into an interesting game in the early stages of the fourth quarter. That he was able to do all of this on a sprained ankle, without Kristaps Porzingis, remains remarkable, and the best is still yet to come from the young phenom. If there was one sore spot it was Doncic's work at the line as he went just 4-of-8 today and 42-for-64 in the series. He's going to be a high-volume FT player for years to come and it might be the thing that keeps him out of truly elite fantasy value. Doncic hit .758 at the stripe this past season after going .713 as a rookie, and any more wild swings in efficiency are going to have a big impact on his fantasy ranking. You're splitting hairs when it comes to the top-20 or so, so even mediocre percentages on Doncic's volume have a chance to sink ROI if the price gets too steep.
