Nerlens Noel

Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Knicks have secured the services of Nerlens Noel on a one-year deal worth $5 million.

The free agent big man joins a now-crowded Knicks frontcourt, adding to guys like Mitchell Robinson, Julius Randle and rookie Obi Toppin. Nerlens is a solid defender, so it's not surprising as to how he caught the eye of coach Tom Thibodeau. Noel does cramp some of the upside Robinson has for the upcoming season, so the logjam is only going to be something else fantasy managers will be bemoaning this FA period.
