• Malik Beasley
    SG, Minnesota Timberwolves

When asked about Wolves' long-term plan for Malik Beasley, General Manager Gersson Rosas replied that he wants Beasley to be part of the team "for a long, long time".

Beasley was an immediate starter once he landed in Minnesota and figures to remain a useful scoring option for next season. He will enter free agency in the offseason as a restricted free agent, and the Wolves should have a fair shot to retain his services by offering him a starting role. Over 14 games he averaged 20.7 points, 5.1 boards, and 3.5 treys on a .480 field goal percentage. The scoring will take hit when he is the third banana next to Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell, but Beasley will still have some upside as a late-round selection next year.
