Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard maintained that the team is still not entertaining trade calls for Bradley Beal, stating, "Bradley Beal isn't going anywhere".

Trade rumors have swirled around Beal ever since Sheppard took on the role as GM. To his credit, he has remained firm and emphatic about Beal's standing with the franchise, stating on multiple occasions that he is a foundational building block and that they want to continue developing around him. Never say never, but all indications appear to be that Beal will begin next season as the Wizards' unquestioned number one option.
