NBA Commissioner Adam Silver told members of the media that the league is not able to make a decision on the season at this time and "it's unclear when we will be."

This was the consensus view of the Board of Governors, and at this point, the leadership is simply frustrated with their inability to predict what is on the horizon for the National Basketball Association. Silver acknowledged that the country needs to develop further capabilities for large-scale testing, and the league is presently unable to say if certain criteria are met they can resume activities. Despite the significant resources at the NBA's disposal, we are still facing an unprecedented situation, and until the country starts making stronger progress it's hard to imagine the NBA will be making any significant maneuvers.
