The Rockets and Pelicans will be among the teams to speak with Ty Lue about their head coaching vacancies, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Rockets have already spoken to Wolves assistant David Vanterpool, whose name has been in the rumor mill over the last couple of seasons. Lue is one of the hottest names on the coaching market right now but may not have to house-hunt, as the current Clippers assistant is said to be a prominent player in their search to replace Doc Rivers. The Rockets may be the most interesting coaching situation out there, as they have a roster that's been built to play in a specific way; a way that many coaches don't have experience with.
