Montrezl Harrell has earned the 2019-20 Sixth Man of the Year award.

Harrell's fifth season in the NBA further certified his prior breakout season in 2018-19, and his energy and low post presence were crucial pieces that carried the Clippers to the second seed in the Western Conference. He ended the season with averages of 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.1 blocks on .580 shooting from the field and a .658 clip from the line. He set career-highs in points and rebounds and he is slowly getting his free-throw shooting into a liveable place for fantasy purposes. He made the most of his 27.8 minutes per game during the regular season, and he will be able to further prove his value as the Clippers seek to advance throughout the playoffs. The award is a nice boost to his free agency credentials as he enters the market this fall.
