Markieff Morris

PF, Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers will likely be without Markieff Morris for their first scrimmage game on Thursday vs. the Mavs.

Earlier in the week, head coach Frank Vogel said that the team plans to ease Morris back into playing shape appropriately and it appears that he will miss Thursday’s scrimmage. Morris only arrived to Orlando on July 21 and needs to ramp up his conditioning in order to take the floor. If he ultimately sits out, Kyle Kuzma and Jared Dudley will likely see additional minutes against Dallas.
