Luke Kennard said he is fully recovered from bilateral knee soreness, and he is ready to return to the floor whenever the Pistons can play again.
Kennard was on the verge of returning when the season came to an abrupt stoppage in action. Kennard was having a productive campaign with career-highs with 15.8 points, 4.1 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 3-pointers per game. Kennard had expanded his game as a scorer and playmaker in this third year, but injuries limited him to just 28 games, and he gives close to zero in steals (0.4) and blocks (0.2). Taking those negatives into account, he could be a darkhorse candidate towards the end of 12-team drafts. Kennard has the opportunity to improve his game further and the Pistons don't have many reliable offensive options. Kennard is one of their few assets that can be part of a rebuild.
