Jerome RobinsonSG, Washington WizardsWith newfound opportunity as a member of the Washington Wizards, Jerome Robinson is looking to regain confidence in the trait that made him a lottery pick last season: his shooting stroke.
Robinson has found himself playing big minutes in the Wiz's rotation lately thanks to his solid perimeter defense and an injury to Ish Smith (hamstring), but he has acknowledged he has a lot more to do in terms of producing offensively. “Sometimes I make a move and then I pass. I’m like, ‘That was my opportunity,’” Robinson said. “So, just making mental notes of it and staying aggressive and playing through it.” Robinson didn't do much shooting as a member of the Clippers, he was mostly deployed as a situational wing-stopper defensively in short spurts. It's worth keeping in mind, however, that he shot 40% from deep in his last year of college on a healthy 5.7 attempts per-game, so he's certainly capable of lighting it up from deep. Keep him in mind as we approach the silly season stretch of the schedule.
