Hassan WhitesideC, Portland Trail BlazersHassan Whiteside (Achilles) made his bubble debut for Sunday's contest against the Raptors, during which he produced six points, five rebounds, two blocks and two turnovers over 18 minutes.
The Blazers rolled out both Whiteside and Jusuf Nurkic in the starting lineup, and Nurkic (17 PTS, 13 REBS, 5 ASTS) was clearly the more prominent of the two over his 27 minutes. Whiteside is still going to be a top shot blocker no matter how fast of a rise we see from Nurkic, but his days of easy double-doubles are going to be in the rearview mirror. With Zach Collins also healthy, the Blazers have too many options to continue giving Whiteside over 31 minutes per game. He'll have a steady shot blocking floor alongside a high level of risk if you're still projecting him as an early-round option.
