• Donovan Mitchell
    SG, Utah Jazz

Donovan Mitchell was a man on a mission for the Jazz during their Game 1 loss to the Nuggets on Monday, exploding for a career-high 57 points including six triples, adding nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 43 minutes.

Mitchell sent people searching for the record books as he torched the Nuggets to the tune of 57 points. He becomes only the second Jazz player in history to record at least 50 points in a playoff game, topping Karl Malone's 50 point effort from back in 2000. He now also has the third-highest individual points total in a playoff game, behind Michael Jordan and Elgin Baylor. Unfortunately, he could not guide the Jazz to victory and they will need to regroup before taking on the Nuggets in Game 2 on Wednesday.
