Doc Rivers said that load management is "individual-based" when asked about how he'll handle things with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.

Simmons hasn't really been a load management guy but his recent bout of knee issues might encourage the Sixers to play it a little safer next season. Embiid, on the other hand, is always a risk of sitting out random games, and Rivers' comments didn't reveal anything specific about his plans. That said, it does sound like the Sixers plan to keep Embiid's minutes in check to some extent. "Every individual has a limit, right? We’ll figure that out. Ben [Simmons], when healthy, seems to play more games right now. Joel seems like he’s gradually upticking, which is a good thing. It’s not just that. It’s minutes. It’s practice time. It encompasses a lot of stuff. Every team has to deal with it, and we’ll have to deal with it here, and we’ll probably figure it out." Embiid is a first-round fantasy player whenever he's on the court, but the lack of volume makes him a risky proposition. Embiid's fantasy GMs should be used to constant news-checking, and that shouldn't be expected to change with Rivers in charge.
