Austin Rivers said in a Facebook Q&A with Craig Ackerman that over the last couple of years, interest in coaching has continued to grow.

There's no secret that Rivers is the son of famous coach, Doc Rivers. That said, he admitted that coaching was not something that interested him prior to the last couple of years. He had always seen himself more in the business side of things – either as a player agent, GM or president. Rivers is only 27 years old and should have more than a handful of seasons left in his NBA career. However, he does have the pedigree and increased interest could be the missing piece in what could be a promising career on the bench.
