Anzejs PasecniksC, Washington WizardsThe Wizards have converted Anzejs Pasecniks to a standard NBA contract following the waiving of C.J Miles (wrist) according to Candace Buckner of the Washington Post.
The 7’1 Pasecniks has provided valuable rebounding for the flailing Wizards, and made more sense to keep on the roster than Miles, a low-end 3-point option who’s return date is still unclear. Pasecniks has averaged 8.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in his 13 with the team, but has done little else to warrant fantasy attention. This move will also allow the Wizards to free up a two-way roster spot, which they will use to re-sign Johnathan Williams according to Buckner.
