    Anthony Davis uncharacteristically went a poor 7-of-14 from the charity stripe on Saturday, but still managed to put up a well-rounded stat line that featured him going for 29 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and three blocks.

    AD, who is a strong bet to win the Defensive Player of the Year award, did his damage in a team-high 41 minutes tonight – a good sign that the oft-injured big man is healthy enough to log in heavy minutes for the Lakers. His free throw shooting was his only real blemish in an otherwise picture-perfect performance, but is not something we should expect to see more of down the line considering he's a career 80.2 percent shooter from the stripe.
