Andre Drummond was noncommital when asked about picking up his player option to stay with the Cavs next season.

Drummond was asked about what he was leaning towards during a long interview and basically took a pass on the entire subject. Nonetheless, Drummond is well aware that he has a player worth a significant sum, $28.7 million to be exact, and with the salary cap due for a reduction it is hard to imagine Drummond fetching that kind of dough as a free agent. The Cavs are prepared for him to opt into the extra year, and you should be planning with that mindset as well.
